From January 1982 to October 1982, we have had clinical evaluation of 84 cases of gastric cancer, who have been taken gastrfiberscope in department of internal medicine Chungnam national University Hospital.
The result obtained as follows;
1. The ratio of .male and female was 1.7: 1 and age distribution were found 35.7°0 in 6th decade, 28.6% in 7th decade, 20.2% in 5th decade.
2. The morphologic type of 84 cases of gastric cancer were presented 21 cases in type III, 18 cases (21.4%) in type II, 14 cases (19.7%) in type 1V, and 10 cases (11.9%) in type I , and 21. cases (25.0%) in unclassified in order of frequency.
3. In 37 biopsy cases, abenocarcinomas were confirmed in 25 cases (67.6%).
4. The anatomical distributions of gastric cancer were found 35 cases (41.7%) in ant rum, 17 cases (20.7%) in angle and antrum, 15 cases (17.9%) in body, and 13 cases (15.5%) are involved diffusely.
